Life's challenging

would it be 'days of my loser life' or 'days of my loser life continues' would the script change?

It really is a start.... AGAIN!

its OCT!!! its so close to DEC 2008.. i was thinkin just the past week that it seems like a gd year so far. OH MAN.. really.. so near yet so far..

Funny how the dark clouds never really went away. They must have been to the army and have mastered the art of camouflaged and ambush. A ‘victim’ was captured.

I think I have the gift of premonition but just like any heroes (The serial show Heroes), I don’t know how to control my powers yet. And like most heroes, I tend to use the wrong ones first and at wrong timings (suay-ness)!!

My warning signs came in the form of small accidents first before the main dish is served.
The story unravels………. (*music*)

Episode 1:
I was in a coach for a work trip up Malacca during the weekend. I believe it had nothing to with my height but something with the bus ceiling.. ITS TOO LOW!! (I was seated in the inner seat near the window. I like being near the window.) Somehow or rather I kept hitting on to the ceiling!! Out of the 10 times I had to get up, I made contact 8.5 times. The 0.5 is the case whereby I thought I got up safe but my entry in went ‘touch-down’!! SCORE!!

The best hit (main dish) was a 4 hit head-head-neck-knee combo. I think I was nearly KO-ed by ‘fighting’ against myself.
Controls manual:
Someone shouted my name from somewhere, up I went. (Control Button 1: shouting out the name ‘Jennifer’) First impact: back head made full ‘ground’ with the ceiling. I was super groggy after that 1st move by action character ‘Jennifer’. Next up, though unable to keep my balance straight, I still managed to make my way out to the aisle.

Still clutching onto my head and feeling dizzy, I heard someone calling my name from behind, asking if I was ok. The bus was super quiet as either the passengers were sleeping or they were watching the movie played on the bus. (Control Button 2: shouting out the name ‘Jennifer’), I went ‘huh?’, turned my head and BAM!! My head made impact with the LCD TV hanging mid-air!!! !@#$%^

The world was spinning. I was falling forward. I was trying to reach out for the arms of the chair for balance. (Control Button 3: Lanyard hanging on the neck). AIYAH…. My lanyard somehow got tangled with the seat arms and I got strangled momentarily.

When I yanked it off, I lost balance and my knee knocked against the lower part of the chair (Control Button 4: violence begets violence).

My reward(s) for the ‘match’: Swollen head, sore neck and bruised knee.
Buttons to learn (Jennifer-Jennifer-Lanyard-Violence).
My height remained. It got balanced off by the big head though my neck got shorter.

Episode 2:
Had a couple of freak falls throughout the whole day. However, I managed to actually catch hold of someone or thing just in time. A change of luck.. YEAH RITE!! My name remains ceteri paribus, JENNIFER!

I had a game of Captain’s Ball today. Started the game safe enough. I volunteered to be the catcher. Come on.. on a chair, stationary.. The ball used was a volley ball.. ALAMAK.. its too smooth, no grip and so light. I could hardly catch the ball everytime it was thrown for me. Gee.. yeah… u can guess it right.. there were a couple of near misses (my definition of ‘near misses’ means falls), but.. like what a proud gymnast will do after their routine, tata.. I was fine!
Routine 1 (‘Parallel Bars’, I draw the comparison to hand grip on the ball as to the bars), SUCCESS!

The floor was slippery too.. it rained. But as the court was half sheltered, the area we were at was dry. But there are times that either we or the ball over-ran to the wet area.. yes.. Again.. However in routine 2, I managed to keep my grip to the ground though I nearly made a full blown fall that could easily be rated a 10 given my years of ‘hard work’, ‘technique’ and ‘experience combined.
Routine 2 (‘Floor Exercise'), SUCCESS!

I was clear.. No one was guarding me. The ball was up for grabs. I was in the guarding position. ‘Smacked the ball away’ was what went on in my head. I guess I forgot the next step. I landed awkwardly on my left leg. ‘Cracked’ was the next word that ran through my head. AHHHHH… It’s a sprain. I knew it.
Routine 3 (‘1- half-somersault-body-twist and landing’) FAILED!

My prize(s): a foot warmer cum half legging on my left leg and 2 clutches for company for my right leg.

Just 2 weeks ago, I fell on my left as well cox of a dive I made to get the ball in a match. My left knee got scrapped along with the extra freebies (bruises) on the left and right knee caps. Dejavu…

Why did I not heed the signs of those in the ‘upper levels’? These were messages from the heavens, I chose to ignore. But seriously, how do I know?

and did i mentioned that i chipped my molar while accidentally chewing on the fork??!!

HOW WEIRD IS THAT?! so wat were the signs? erm.. this explains why the noodle needed extra chewing before it went down my throat??!!
