I MEAN IT.. THANK YOU!!

this post goes out to those who took time off to celebrate my birthday for me!! THANK YOU!! this was like a week-long celebration. its great to be able to meet up with friends using my birthday as a reason to gather; cannot say no, cox its my birthday.. did alot of eating at new places that i have not been to yet.. yummy.. its not helpin that i am getting fat as well.. mayb its time to hit the gym (i've been playing with that issue for sometime now.. but still havent been able to actually do it. :p).

• carls' junior--humongous burgers. huge helpings.. big prices!! its a designer burger.. come on. they actually wrapped half the burger in napkins for easier eating. so thoughtful, so much effort put in, of course u hav to pay for it!! but its delicious.
• hong kong cafe (along east coast rd)--great great food. but really expensive.. can u imagine paying $8 for a wanton noodle??!! and its not inclusive of gst and service charges yet.. but their cooking skills are real good. i was drooling at their fried noodles. culinary skills 10/10. its only noodles but taste so good. being born in the year of a pig.. u can trust my taste buds.. on top of it, i'm known to be quite a fussy eater.. but their deserts way off..
• settlers (a place where u pay to stay to play board games)-- pretty decent prices and food.. games are unique and original. but do go with in bunches, not in twos.. remember, u pay to stay there. so if u are going on just for a drink or two, u are seriously wasting your money. u are paying 'land fees' that are included in your meals. dont waste it by staring at each other..

also a big thank you to friends who dug deep in their pockets and hearts to buy me a present!! haa... i got a DVD PLAYER!!! THANK YOU!! U KNOW WHO U ARE!! AND THE MAJOR SHAREHOLDER TOO!!! ok.. i'll remember your bdays and dig deep too.. haaa..

o yar.. before i forget.. to those who also dropped a msg before, on and after my bday to wish me happy birthday.. calls of wishes too.. though most of the texts and content is abt wishing me better luck and less misfortunes, reminding me that i am getting uglier and older... had a fren who sent me: 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY! *thunder and ligtning*.. good one.. one even suggested i do a statistics of how many good-wishers actually were suaning me instead of wishing me.. haa

anyway.. i am older, i am wiser.. and i definately appreciate all my frens.. so..
