Staff at CGH are really great.. or i wont hav last long..
really.. i've been in and out of this hospital that i can really grade their services an A- (cannot give full marks as so that they would have room for improvement). from the staff from A & E, to the porters (the people who transport you to your wards or to anywhere else that maybe required if u are unable to move by yourself), to the x-ray personal, the counter staffs, to the docs and the nurses.. they are just so helpful and warm..
this postings is especially dedicated to the nurses at ward 37..
when my hand was so bruised up, from all teh flushing and the driping.. there was a nurse who actually massaged my hand through the night.. haa.. and they didnt really complain, at least not infront of me or poison my food, when i kept pressing the red button (the button to call for assistance).. really.. i was in pain man.. even the one who served the food was nice.. he gave me orange juice at no extra chargers.. haa.. it was a special order that he just added for me.. as a special request.. they were willing to serve.. can u imagine that when they are uncertain about somethin.. they would call for a whole bunch of back-up.. yes.. i do understand that its life that they are handlin.. but they are always so obliging and gentle.. especially with such a low threshold of pain like me, they were willingly to give in to me and accomodate me as much as possible.. geeee.. so sweet.. u see, those grumpy nurses can always care me no two hoots and then just force the drip into my system.. instead of doin it slowly... its just a matter of a one shot pain but get it over and done with or a long tedious handlin of the syringe or drip and minimum pain.. or a grumpy nurse can always scold u.. instead of entertain u.. they even let your visitors stay after the official visiting hours.. though they do hav a word w u abt it.. but most often then not, they just let u be.. they are always willing to serve.. and with the right attitude too..
in a ward with no other great amenities.. having such great staff just makes your stay great..
THANK YOU!!!
