this is easier...

I hate running... was told that running actually trains the mind as well as the body. You see, while physically, u will expect to trim down a feel inches around the waist line, mentally u are being trained to endure the pain, cramps, heat, aches, distance etc that you will be experiencing while completing the run. Have you, not once, did a countdown on how many laps u are doing or ever wondering inside when is the run going to be over? I have and had even cursed openly every time I had to do laps for trainings.

And when it rains.. I would be jumping for joy as it means.. No running!! But…

Wet Weather Plan.
When not doing laps at the track, it would be running on the treadmills. Though there are ppl who feels that running on the treadmill is of no challenge but to me, it still is. To run consistently at a speed and to do so for 20 mins can be quite tiring. There’s not much of a view and u are just staring hard at the digital clock on the treadmill, hurrying it to wind down faster. Your eyes will be surveying the monitor and you cant help noticing this BIG RED button in front of you wish reads, ‘for emergency stop please pull/press this’. When you hit the button, which is a big one, and it will come to a sudden stop.. And its so inviting when u are hurting so badly.

My main aim of this story is trying to tell myself.. Its very easy to give up while its very very hard to hang on. But when u do complete it, wont u feel a sense of achievement? I know I feel good after completing my 10 laps or 20 mins of running. The workout makes me feel great and the feeling is quite indescribable. It maybe a small achievement but the feeling is just as great.

I am feeling lost with archery now…. Writing this to keep myself going.

DON’T GIVE UP JENNIFER!! HANG IN THERE!!
